Senior Investment Associate - Corporate Debt

L&G's Asset Management business is a major investor across public and private markets worldwide, with $1.533 trillion in AUM. The firm serves individual savers, pension scheme members, and global institutions alongside L&G's own balance sheet.

The Senior Investment Associate is primarily responsible for the origination, analysis, execution, and management of corporate debt investments for L&G's clients. Sectors covered include industrials, utilities, REITs, healthcare, sports leagues, insurance companies, and various others. The role also includes supporting other Private Credit verticals and wider team initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Originate and filter new potential corporate debt investments according to suitability for LGIMA's clients

- Liaise with borrowers, intermediaries, and sponsors; attend industry conferences and events to build market connections

- Act as Deal Captain on transactions with attractive risk-adjusted returns: own due diligence, credit ratings, documentation review and negotiation, approval processes, and execution/closing

- Manage existing investments by reviewing borrower reporting, processing waiver requests, and producing quarterly reviews

- Support new client marketing and origination, new sector/product research, and operational improvements

- Work closely with colleagues in Chicago and London

The position requires strong credit analysis capabilities, deal execution experience, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously across a diverse sector mix.
