Director, Portfolio Management, Private Infrastructure Debt

Principal Private Infrastructure Debt team is growing. The Director is responsible for senior-level portfolio management and credit oversight for a diversified global infrastructure debt portfolio, reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Debt.

Portfolio Management & Credit Oversight:

- Lead portfolio management and credit oversight for a globally diversified infrastructure debt portfolio, including ongoing credit surveillance, portfolio risk assessments, and valuation oversight

- Act as senior client liaison for active and prospective clients

Credit Analysis & Underwriting:

- Play a key role in underwriting and executing USPP infrastructure and project finance transactions

- Execute fundamental credit analysis, financial models, and downside scenarios supporting investment committee processes

Client, Market & Platform Engagement:

- Serve as sector subject-matter expert, contributing market insight to investment evaluation and portfolio positioning

- Support sourcing efforts alongside origination teams

- Participate in client engagement, branding, marketing, and thought-leadership initiatives

Stressed & Underperforming Asset Management:

- Monitor and manage underperforming or watch-list exposures, supporting borrower and sponsor engagement

- Assist with remediation or restructuring strategies and coordinate on waivers
