Monroe Capital LLC is a premier private credit asset manager seeking an experienced deal originator to join its West Coast originations team in Santa Monica, CA.

Role Overview

This senior originations role focuses on building and leveraging private equity sponsor relationships to generate proprietary deal flow for Monroe Capital’s middle market private credit strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and originate middle market investment opportunities with West Coast PE sponsors, privately held businesses, and independent sponsors

- Lead the full deal process: origination, structuring, and closing transactions

- Build and expand a network within the PE and investment banking community

- Develop investment theses and preliminary deal summaries

Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in cash flow lending and/or middle market finance

- 5+ years focused on the private equity sector

- Well-established private equity relationships and proven transaction track record

- BS/Master’s in Finance, Economics, or related field

Compensation

- Base salary: $200,000–$275,000

- Performance-based bonus and potential carried interest participation
