About This Role

Role Overview

MDSV Capital is hiring a Senior VC Associate / Analyst to join its investment team, working across two complementary mandates: analyzing emerging manager venture funds and conducting diligence on direct early-growth technology investments. The role is structured as a 2-3 year commitment with the potential to grow into a partnership-track position over time. This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze historical performance data for emerging manager venture funds (sub-$100MM in size) spanning up to 15 years of track record

- Lead analysis and due diligence on early-growth stage technology companies (post-Series A, with $15MM+ in revenue)

- Develop detailed deal memos to support investment recommendations to the team

- Build and maintain financial models and Excel-based analytical work supporting fund and company evaluations

- Prepare and manage reporting using Pitchbook and proprietary data sources

- Support investor relations activities and ad hoc analysis projects as needed

Qualifications

- 2-4 years of relevant experience in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, private equity/venture capital, or technology

- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with high proficiency in Excel

- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities

- Genuine orientation toward a career in technology and venture investing

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with close attention to detail
