Venture Capital Senior Associate - LM Venture Capital

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Venture Capital Senior Associate to join LM Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of the aerospace and defense company. This is a remote-eligible role based in Arlington, Virginia, with approximately 10% travel on a compressed four-day work week schedule.

LM Ventures invests in technology companies at the frontier of aerospace, defense, and national security. The Senior Associate will evaluate investment opportunities, conduct due diligence on early and growth-stage companies, and support the strategic direction of the CVC program.

Key responsibilities include evaluating business plans, conducting financial and technical due diligence, preparing investment memos for the investment committee, and supporting portfolio company relationships post-investment. The Associate will interface with Lockheed Martin business units to identify strategic alignment with portfolio companies.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong knowledge of financial statements, P&L analysis, and balance sheet assessment, alongside the ability to evaluate technology-driven business models. US citizenship is required. Preferred qualifications include prior venture investing experience, an advanced STEM degree, and an MBA with management experience. This role offers exposure to the intersection of corporate strategy, national security technology, and venture capital.
