Role Overview

Gravity Labs creates companies from scratch rather than writing traditional checks. The Principal serves as the internal venture-creation engine: identifying market gaps, pressure-testing ideas, and assembling founding teams before making the first seed investment.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate and evaluate venture concepts through research and operator conversations

- Author business cases, investment memos, and founder pitches with strategic framing

- Present investment theses to the investment committee

- Build MVPs using AI coding tools to accelerate timelines before hiring founders

- Identify and recruit founding CEOs and CTOs

Requirements

- Founder-level execution velocity and product sensibilities

- Track record in early-stage venture, startup operations, or company building

- Strong crypto/startup ecosystem network

- Rigorous analytical thinking and the discipline to kill ideas when evidence warrants
