Private Assets and Quantitative Research, Associate/Vice President

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions including foundations and endowments.

The Strategic and Quantitative Asset Allocation group (SQAA) within the Investment Strategy Group (ISG) is seeking a Private Assets specialist to deliver high-quality research, help clients with allocation advice and commitment planning, and ideate and implement innovative investment solutions.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead research on Private Assets within ISG, covering cash flow forecasting and J-Curve analysis, commitment planning, liquidity management, return attribution, and performance measurement

- Provide comprehensive asset allocation advice to HNW clients and institutions for private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate allocations

- Develop quantitative tools and analytics to support client decision-making across private market asset classes

- Ideate and implement innovative investment solutions that provide effective private assets exposure in client portfolios

- Work and interact directly with clients and Private Wealth Advisors, requiring creativity, the ability to multitask, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills

- Collaborate with the broader ISG team on strategic and tactical asset allocation views for private assets

The role requires a strong background in Private Assets research and/or portfolio management. Candidates at the Associate level are encouraged to apply; highly qualified candidates at the Vice President level will also be considered. The position requires strong analytical and technical skills combined with excellent communication abilities.
