Associate, Commercial Due Diligence – Technology, Private Equity

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is expanding its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) – Technology Industry Group and is seeking an Associate for Commercial Due Diligence. A&M is a global consulting firm with over 10,000 professionals in 40+ countries, known for hands-on operational expertise and a culture that celebrates independent thinkers.

A&M's PEPI practice serves upper middle market and large cap private equity firms engaged by A&M to drive transaction value creation and growth strategy. The Technology Industry Group is a fast-growing business targeting high growth over the next 2-4 years, bringing a structured and disciplined approach to create and capture value for PE clients.

The Associate role involves performing commercial due diligence for PE clients evaluating technology sector investments, including market sizing and growth analysis, competitive landscape assessment, customer research and voice-of-customer interviews, revenue quality analysis, and commercial value creation planning. The role offers direct client exposure and meaningful PE deal flow experience, working closely with both PE sponsors and their portfolio companies through the transaction process and beyond. Candidates will work across pre-deal commercial diligence, post-acquisition value creation, and exit preparation engagements.
