Director of Investments, Private Equity / Real Estate

A large, well-funded, and extremely active Private Equity / Real Estate Investment Fund with over a 20-year track record of profitable investing is seeking a Director of Investments to expand its commercial real estate portfolio in the Southeastern United States.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding the firm's commercial real estate footprint across Atlanta, Charlotte, and Florida markets. Primary investment strategies include office, industrial, logistics, data centers, and mixed-use assets.

Key responsibilities include leading office and industrial underwriting and M&A activities across the Southeast region, identifying market trends and translating insights into actionable investment strategies, and leveraging a network of industry relationships with the brokerage community and property managers to procure target assets. The role involves developing and executing strategies to enhance and expand strategic alliances, managing the full lifecycle deal execution process from sourcing to closing, and preparing investment and offering memoranda for the Investment Committee and Partners.

Requirements include 7+ years of professional experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, a top academic pedigree, and CFA or MBA strongly preferred. The role demands proven experience managing and mentoring young analysts, along with strong analytical, data modeling, and quantitative skills. Exceptional client-facing and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex issues to senior management are essential.
