VP, Credit Operations - Private Credit Platform

A growing alternative investment firm in New York City is expanding its private credit platform and looking to add a Credit Operations Director. Compensation: $300-400k total comp.

This is a highly visible role working directly with the investment team and senior leadership to oversee the operational lifecycle of credit investments across a mixed credit strategy. The position will play a key role in scaling infrastructure, improving processes, and ensuring seamless execution of investment activity.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee operational execution of credit investments from approval through closing, funding, and ongoing portfolio management. Partner closely with the investment team on deal execution, including coordinating funds flow, documentation requirements, and closing logistics. Manage relationships with loan agents, administrators, custodians, and other external service providers. Oversee wire activity, cash movements, and reconciliation processes across the platform.

Requirements: 8-15 years of experience in credit operations within asset management, alternative investments, or private markets. Strong exposure to private/illiquid credit strategies.
