Associate, Asset-Based Finance Portfolio Management

Brookfield is seeking an Associate for its Asset-Based Finance Portfolio Management team, based in New York. This role sits at the intersection of portfolio monitoring, cash flow analytics, and valuation within Brookfield's private credit platform.

Key responsibilities include Investment Monitoring & Portfolio Oversight: partnering with deal teams to transition investments post-closing, tracking KPIs across the asset-based finance portfolio, analyzing collateral and structural profiles, and maintaining investment watchlists in coordination with the Risk team.

The role also covers Cash Flow Modeling & Analytics: maintaining transaction-level cash flow models in Intex, rolling forward projections, validating model outputs against legal documentation and trustee reports, and ensuring accurate integration into internal analytics systems.

Additional responsibilities include Valuation & Reporting: ensuring timely reporting from borrowers and originators, and maintaining ongoing engagement with trustee and servicer counterparties.

The ideal candidate brings 2-4 years of experience in structured finance, asset-based lending, or private credit portfolio management, with strong financial modeling skills and familiarity with structured product analytics tools. The position is based at Brookfield Place New York, 225 Liberty Street.
