Alternative Credit, Investment Professional

Blue Owl Capital (NYSE: OWL) is a leading alternative asset manager with over $315 billion in assets under management, investing across Credit, Real Assets, and GP Strategic Capital. The Financial Assets Team within Alternative Credit seeks experienced Investment Professionals to join their New York office.

The team targets credit-oriented investments in markets underserved by traditional lenders, with deep expertise across specialty finance, private corporate credit, and equipment leasing. This strategy offers differentiated exposure through an extensive sourcing network, asset-based expertise, and the ability to underwrite complexity.

Responsibilities include managing multiple transactions simultaneously across all stages of the investment process—structuring, investment committee, and ongoing portfolio management. The role involves developing financial models, conducting thorough due diligence, participating in legal documentation and term sheet negotiations, and managing overall transaction processes in partnership with senior professionals. The successful candidate will also mentor junior team members and contribute to strategic planning.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of buyside investment experience or relevant banking background, combined with 2+ years in asset-backed or financial institution credit investing or advisory. Strong quantitative skills, financial modeling proficiency, and excellent communication are required.

Base salary range: $125,000–$175,000, plus discretionary bonus.
