Associate, Private Markets Operations – Middle Office

BlackRock is hiring an Associate for its Private Markets Operations Middle Office team, part of the Global Portfolio Service team within Business Operations. The team supports private asset settlements and lifecycle activity, manages BlackRock's investment book of record for the alternatives platform, and makes data available to downstream stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

- Provide trade support and execution functions for private investment funds, including monitoring internal and external teams to ensure accurate and timely execution

- Foster relationships with back-office support professionals at private fund managers and their administrators, including communications regarding trading and amortization activity

- Liaise with external service providers, internal team members, and other BlackRock groups to resolve operational issues

- Work with business teams to facilitate investment booking and lifecycle management

- Support accurate and timely data delivery to downstream stakeholders including accounting, risk, and client reporting teams

Requirements:

- Experience in private markets or alternative investments operations

- Familiarity with private fund structures, trade settlement, and investment lifecycle management

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

- Experience with investment book of record systems a plus
