Associate - GIP Credit, Investment Professional

BlackRock's Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), with US$193 billion in AUM, is seeking an Associate to join the GIP Credit Team in New York. GIP is a leading infrastructure investment manager with a 20-year track record and approximately 680 dedicated professionals deploying capital globally in four infrastructure verticals: energy, transportation, digital, and water & waste.

The GIP Credit Team has 60+ investment professionals that have deployed approximately $19 billion of investment-grade capital and $10 billion of non-investment grade capital in debt, preferred, and structured equity formats.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial modelling: developing and analyzing robust financial models to analyze investment opportunities

- Deal assessment and execution: conducting due diligence, financial review, and preparation of investment committee materials

- Market research: researching potential investments, policy developments, competitors, and technology

- Portfolio monitoring: assisting in monitoring investments in the GIP Credit portfolio

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of relevant work experience in project finance, leveraged finance, M&A, or restructuring, with a bachelor's degree and strong academic record. GIP seeks individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
