Senior Associate, Corporate Venture Capital

1957 Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Riyad Bank, seeks a Senior Associate to support early-stage investments in fintech and adjacent sectors. The role involves identifying promising startups at Pre-Seed to Series A stages, conducting financial analysis and due diligence, and facilitating portfolio company growth. Key responsibilities include sourcing opportunities across the MENA region, evaluating business models and unit economics, preparing investment memos, supporting deal structuring, and monitoring portfolio performance. The successful candidate will also track venture trends, contribute strategic insights, and identify synergies between portfolio companies and Riyad Bank business divisions. Required qualifications include approximately five years in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or strategy consulting. A bachelor degree in finance, economics, engineering, or business is essential, with an MBA or CFA preferred. Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities are critical. The role demands excellent English communication skills and ideally Arabic proficiency. Saudi nationals are strongly preferred.
