Wenite Raises €1.8M for HR Data Platform

Ghent-based HR technology innovator, Wenite, has successfully closed a €1.8 million funding round, signaling a significant push to solidify its role as a crucial infrastructure provider for European HR service firms. The capital infusion, featuring €1.2 million in equity from Imec.iStart alongside a cohort of private investors from the HR sector, will fuel the company's expansion across the continent.

The strategic investment arrives at a pivotal moment for the HR services industry. Currently, approximately 60% of organizations leverage external consultants and advisors for their people strategies. However, many of these vital service providers still grapple with fragmented data management, relying on disparate tools like spreadsheets and basic survey platforms. This inefficiency hinders their ability to centralize critical employee insights, automate workflows, and deliver scalable, data-driven services, ultimately limiting their impact and growth potential.

Wenite, founded in 2021 by Jasper Dezwaef, Emiel Cracco, and Robin Vannieuwenhuijse, directly addresses this market gap. The platform offers a unified digital backbone designed specifically for HR consultants. It integrates essential functionalities including data collection, customer relationship management (CRM), workflow automation, and AI-powered analytics.
