London-based Lucida AI has successfully closed a €6.1 million Seed funding round, propelling its mission to revolutionize global communication through speech-native artificial intelligence. The investment, led by Velocity Capital, saw significant participation from Next Tier Ventures, Look AI Ventures, Turkey’s Bogazici Ventures, Yapı Kredi Frwrd Ventures, and Ünlü & Co. This latest infusion of capital builds upon a prior €1.09 million pre-Seed investment from Neo Asset Management, bringing the company's total funding to over €7.24 million.

The substantial Seed financing will fuel Lucida AI's strategic expansion into new linguistic markets and international territories. Key objectives include advancing its proprietary AI infrastructure, scaling its enterprise solutions worldwide, and accelerating the development of its innovative speech-to-speech communication platform. The company's co-founders, Mustafa Girgin and M. Sait Demirci, emphasized their commitment to building a robust, speech-first AI system designed for seamless global interaction, aligning with investors who share this ambitious long-term vision.
