YXS Capital seeks a Principal to join its Venture Capital team in San Francisco. This role offers a significant opportunity to identify, evaluate, and support groundbreaking technology companies, contributing directly to the firm's investment strategy and portfolio growth.

YXS Capital is a venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology investments. As a Principal, you will play a central role in all aspects of the investment lifecycle, from market mapping and deal sourcing to portfolio management and exit strategy. This position requires a professional with a proven track record in venture capital or a related field, capable of independent thought and collaborative execution within a focused investment environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The Principal will be responsible for a range of critical activities, including:

Investment Sourcing:* Proactively identify and engage with promising startups and entrepreneurs across relevant technology sectors, building a robust pipeline of investment opportunities.

Due Diligence:* Lead comprehensive investment analysis, including market assessment, technology evaluation, business model analysis, team assessment, and financial modeling to evaluate potential investments.

Investment Recommendation:* Develop and present detailed investment theses and recommendations to the YXS Capital Investment Committee, articulating rationale and potential risks.

Deal Execution:* Support the negotiation and structuring of investment terms, working closely with legal and financial advisors to finalize transactions.

Portfolio Management:* Provide strategic support and guidance to portfolio companies, assisting with follow-on financing, talent acquisition, operational challenges, and strategic partnerships.

Ecosystem Engagement:* Cultivate and maintain relationships with founders, industry experts, co-investors, and other key stakeholders in the venture ecosystem.

Firm Contribution:* Contribute to the firm’s broader strategy, thought leadership, and internal initiatives, enhancing YXS Capital’s market presence and investment capabilities.
