Director

Voy Ventures is a San Francisco-based corporate venture capital firm that bridges Silicon Valley and Japan, partnering with leading Japanese corporations as limited partners to invest in innovative technology startups. The Director role is a senior investment and business development position responsible for shaping the firm's strategy, driving deal flow, and building meaningful partnerships between its global portfolio and Japanese corporate investors.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing the corporate venture capital strategy, defining investment theses across technology verticals, and sourcing and evaluating venture investments across seed through growth stages. The Director will maintain and grow relationships with Japanese corporate LPs, facilitating strategic collaborations between portfolio companies and these institutional investors. The role also encompasses fundraising support, portfolio company support, and managing investor relations.

Candidates must have 5 to 10 years of experience in venture capital, strategy consulting, fund operations, or corporate development, with strong financial modeling and strategic analysis capabilities. A Bachelor's degree is required, with STEM or MBA preferred. Business-level fluency in Japanese is required, and experience working with Japanese corporations is strongly preferred. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
