Corporate Venture Capital - Investment Director

Voy Ventures is a Japan/Asia-focused Venture Capital fund in the San Francisco Bay Area seeking an Investment Director to shape and grow their corporate venture capital (CVC) practice. This role sits at the intersection of venture investing, corporate strategy, and innovation within one of the most active cross-border platforms between Silicon Valley and Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

- Shape CVC strategy, investment theses, and new business initiatives with corporate partners

- Support partnerships between startups, portfolio companies, and Japanese corporate LPs

- Source, evaluate, and support venture investments or drive corporate development initiatives

- Support IR, LP relations, and new business development between portfolio companies and Japanese corporate investors

- Act as a bridge between Silicon Valley and Japan, engaging with entrepreneurs and corporate partners

Requirements:

- 5-10 years of experience in venture capital, corporate venture investing, strategy consulting, or corporate development

- Strong analytical skills in financial modeling and strategic analysis

- Business-level fluency in Japanese required

- Experience working with Japanese corporations is a plus

- Bachelor required; STEM or MBA preferred
