Associate

Toyota Ventures, a San Francisco Bay Area-based venture capital firm with $800M+ AUM founded in 2017, seeks an Associate to help source and screen innovative companies in AI, advanced materials, automation, robotics, and space tech. The firm has invested in over 100 companies including Joby Aviation (NYSE: Joby).

Key Responsibilities:

- Network at industry and VC events

- Generate deal-flow and source target companies

- Evaluate companies and make investment recommendations

- Participate in due diligence and competitive analyses

- Prepare investment memos for the Investment Committee

- Support deal negotiations and closings

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of work experience in related role

- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or relevant field

- Strong networking capabilities within startup ecosystem

- Financial modeling and analysis expertise

Compensation: $120,000-$155,000 annually plus bonus
