Senior Associate/AVP, Emerging Technologies

Temasek's Emerging Technologies (ET) team invests globally in deep-tech and AI innovation opportunities with the potential to drive industry transformation or create entirely new markets. The team leverages deep science and technology domain expertise, global reach, and investment acumen to invest in early-stage deep-tech startups with a differentiated techno-economic edge. Operating within a multi-billion-dollar mandate, the ET team curates and builds growth enterprises leveraging deep-tech platforms in collaboration with globally competitive partners.

The Senior Associate/AVP will join the investment team, based in San Francisco or Singapore. Responsibilities include identifying and evaluating deep-tech investment opportunities across AI, frontier technology, and innovation-driven sectors, conducting due diligence, developing financial models and investment theses, building relationships with global technology founders and co-investors, and preparing investment committee presentations. The role demands strong synthesis of complex scientific and commercial concepts into clear investment theses.

Candidates should have relevant experience in venture capital, technology investing, or deep-tech sectors, combined with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to operate across cultures and geographies.
