Right Side Capital Management is seeking a Principal, Capital Formation, a critical leadership position responsible for spearheading the firm's capital raising initiatives and significantly expanding its global investor base. As Principal, Capital Formation, you will hold a central role in our investor relations and fundraising strategy. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Fundraising Leadership:* Design, implement, and lead comprehensive fundraising campaigns for new and existing funds. This encompasses developing compelling investment narratives, identifying and prioritizing target Limited Partners (LPs), and expertly navigating the entire fundraising cycle from initial engagement through successful closing.
Investor Relationship Management:* Cultivate, strengthen, and expand enduring relationships with a sophisticated global investor base, including institutional investors, family offices, and strategic partners. Serve as a primary ambassador for Right Side Capital Management, ensuring transparent communication, proactive engagement, and exceptional service to our LPs.
Investor Communications & Marketing:* Oversee the development and refinement of all investor-facing materials, including private placement memoranda, investor presentations, due diligence responses, and regular performance updates. Ensure all communications clearly articulate our investment thesis, strategy, and value proposition to a discerning audience.
Market Intelligence & Positioning:* Maintain a deep understanding of the private capital landscape, competitive dynamics, and evolving LP preferences. Utilize these insights to inform our fundraising strategies, identify new market opportunities, and strategically position Right Side Capital Management for continued success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:* Partner closely with our investment team to translate portfolio insights and performance into compelling investor narratives. Collaborate with legal and finance functions to ensure seamless fundraising operations and compliance.
The ideal candidate will possess a distinguished track record in capital formation within the private equity or venture capital sector, demonstrating a profound understanding of institutional investor needs and an established network of meaningful LP relationships. Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are paramount, coupled with a strategic mindset and the ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
