Managing Director, New Ventures

Redesign Health is a premier venture and applied technology firm that has raised $1.5 billion from top-tier institutional and sovereign investors to build next-generation healthcare companies. Since 2018, the firm has launched over 70 companies and touched more than 15 million patients through its unique AI-powered venture capital strategy.

The Managing Director of New Ventures will drive the full investment lifecycle from original healthcare thesis development to founder sourcing and company launch. The MD will identify top-tier founding talent, lead rigorous co-ideation and diligence, and provide strategic leverage to help early-stage ventures achieve power-law outcomes in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities: developing original, high-conviction investment theses in healthcare where AI-native businesses can create outsized outcomes and validating them through primary industry research; sourcing and attracting exceptional founding talent and convincing them to partner with Redesign Health to transform differentiated concepts into venture-scale companies; and leading the Investment Committee process through rigorous co-ideation and diligence while serving as the primary strategic partner to portfolio founders through launch.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in venture capital or early-stage company building with a proven track record of evaluating founders and making investment decisions. Deep healthcare domain expertise across care delivery, health tech, and services is required, coupled with commercial instinct to map concepts to market opportunities. Compensation: $240,000 base salary plus carry. Location: San Francisco or New York.
