Summary:

The Specialty Finance and Fintech Team at Neuberger Berman is seeking a Venture Capital Partner (or Principal) to drive the expansion of our venture business. The key focus areas in this role will be will be Fintech, Insurtech and Blockchain. Additionally this position provides an amazing opportunity to receive substantial economics in an innovative and growing business but within the stability of a larger organization.

The Partner will focus on deal sourcing, deal evaluation and expanding our global venture pipeline.

Responsibilities:

Drive sourcing and evaluation of new investments.

Participate actively on portfolio company boards.

Participate in strategic planning and budgeting process with portfolio companies.

Build out the venture business’ processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

5+ years of financial experience with a

minimum of 2–5 years at an established venture capital firm.

Demonstrated success in previous early-stage investments.

Fintech networking and underwriting relationships.

EQ necessary to interact with CEOs and other leaders within the Fintech ecosystem.

Experience building complex financial models in Excel.
