Analyst / Associate – Investments

Moderne Ventures is a PropTech and real estate-focused VC firm seeking an Analyst or Associate for its Investments Team.

Investment Team Responsibilities:

- Monitor and record quarterly financial/qualitative performance of portfolio companies

- Manage returns tracking and fund administrator coordination

- Maintain deal pipeline databases

- Coordinate due diligence materials and investment committee prep

- Conduct financial modeling and customer research

- Perform product reviews and data-room analysis

- Create market maps and industry trend research

Sourcing & Assessment:

- Identify high-potential investment opportunities by building relationships with VC peers

- Generate target lists through thematic research

- Analyze competitive dynamics and business models

- Prepare investment memoranda with Partners

Requirements:

- 2-4 years experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private investment

- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities

- Understanding of SaaS metrics and web-based analytics

- Chicago-based or willing to relocate; no visa sponsorship
