Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Capital Raising

MetLife Real Estate Investments is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Real Estate Capital Raising function in Whippany, NJ. This senior leadership role will be responsible for building and managing institutional investor relationships, leading fundraising for new real estate strategies, and driving growth of the third-party asset management business. MetLife Real Estate Investments manages over $80 billion in real estate assets, making it one of the preeminent real estate investment managers globally. The MD Head of Real Estate Capital Raising will develop and execute capital raising strategies for real estate equity and debt investment vehicles, targeting institutional investors including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, and endowments. Key responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective limited partners, managing a dedicated capital markets and investor relations team, coordinating closely with investment management and portfolio management teams on fund strategy and performance, and representing the firm at investor conferences and forums. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in institutional real estate capital raising with a proven track record of successful fundraising, deep knowledge of the institutional investor landscape, and strong existing LP relationships.
