VC Analyst – AI Investments

Llama Ventures is a Silicon Valley early-stage VC firm focused on founders integrating advanced AI with deep domain expertise across industrial automation, healthcare, fintech, climate, and tooling sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Discover promising AI startups through demo days, pitch competitions, academic conferences, and founder meetups

- Build relationships within the AI ecosystem (founders, technologists, academics)

- Identify and engage high-potential early-stage founders before institutional fundraising

- Conduct preliminary startup evaluations on product-market fit and competitive positioning

- Monitor emerging AI/ML trends and provide strategic insights

- Maintain deal databases and support investment memo preparation

Requirements:

- 1-2 years experience in VC, startups, or tech community building

- Strong passion for AI and startup innovation with active ecosystem connections

- Comfortable with in-person networking

- Strong analytical and communication skills

- Bachelor's degree in technical, business, or related field

Compensation: $80,000–$140,000
