Role Overview

Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT), the venture capital and growth equity arm of Koch Industries, is hiring a Director to join its investment team in San Francisco. KDT originates and invests in promising entrepreneurs and disruptive technologies, with this role focused on the semiconductor and infrastructure investment theme. The Director will be responsible for underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution for new equity investments.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence for potential equity investments

- Prepare investment presentations for senior management covering valuation, return profile, competitive advantage, and risk

- Perform industry and competitive analysis on potential investments

- Support current portfolio companies, including board member or observer roles

- Build a relationship network within the semiconductor and AI infrastructure industry

- Engage with entrepreneurs and Koch executive leadership

- Travel up to 20%

Qualifications

- Experience in the semiconductor industry, or a degree in Engineering or Applied Physics

- Experience in financial analysis and financial modeling

- Background in corporate business development, M&A, or business investments

- Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills

- Preferred: business/finance-related degree, due diligence experience, board observer experience

Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, plus eligibility for variable pay
