Role Overview

Entrepreneurs First (EF) is hiring an Investor for its 'Launch' program in the San Francisco Bay Area. EF identifies and invests in exceptional pre-team, pre-idea individuals, bringing them together to develop ambitious ideas, providing a bridge to Silicon Valley and helping them raise from the world's best investors. EF is backed by a global group of top-tier founders and investors, including John and Patrick Collison, Eric Schmidt, Charlie Songhurst, Sara Clemens and Mati Staniszewski, alongside institutional investors such as Greylock.

Role Focus

Once founders arrive in San Francisco, the Investor delivers a 3-month program ('Launch') that accelerates how quickly companies launch their product, grow their user and customer base, and raise their seed round.

- Advise up to 10 pre-seed founding teams per batch on building a product customers love, selling, go-to-market strategy and fundraising.

- Take extreme ownership of portfolio companies' progress through Launch, accountable for their outcomes.

- Connect advised companies to customers, mentors and advisors as they land in San Francisco.

- Act as a driving force behind the EF program, with strong input on structure and full ownership of planning, delivery and measuring program impact.

Compensation & Location

$180,000-$200,000/year. San Francisco Bay Area, at Entrepreneurs First.
