Manager - Investment - Credit Analytics

China Taiping Life (HK) is the Hong Kong arm of China Taiping Insurance Group, one of China's largest state-owned insurance conglomerates. The Investment team manages a sophisticated alternative and fixed income portfolio, and is seeking a Credit Analytics Manager to support active credit portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage an active credit portfolio management process to monitor credit risk exposures and quantify credit scores

- Review credit memoranda for new investments and prospective opportunities

- Communicate with portfolio managers to understand market risks and opportunities

- Quantitatively construct credit portfolios with inflows/outflows, optimizing performance across multiple metrics

- Conduct credit risk analysis for debt-related alternative investment projects

- Manage internal database for credit fundamental analysis

- Drive initiatives to develop internal rating systems

- Maintain dialogue with internal group rating team and external rating agencies to adopt industry best practices

Requirements:

- Minimum 6 years of experience from asset management, rating agency, banking, or financial advisory

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or quantitative fields

- CPA or CFA qualification is an advantage

- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Mandarin

- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
