Investment Associate

Cerity Partners Ventures (CPV), formerly Touchdown Ventures, is hiring an Investment Associate for its Built World team. CPV pioneered Venture Capital-as-a-Service (VCaaS) for corporations, partnering with brands including Kellogg, T-Mobile, and BEHR, and manages more than 20 corporate venture capital funds through a team of 50+ investment professionals across Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. The Investment Associate will join a dedicated fund team focused on AI, insurance technology, home services, construction technology, and building products as part of the Built World sector practice, sourcing venture capital investment opportunities and shaping innovation strategy for corporate clients. The role is based in San Francisco or New York City. Core responsibilities include identifying potential start-up investments and sourcing relationships with founders, meeting with entrepreneurs to evaluate business plans and pitches, tracking and reporting deal flow, researching industry sectors and market dynamics, and assisting with due diligence. CPV is looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience, strong critical thinking and research skills, and genuine enthusiasm for venture capital and entrepreneurship. Compensation is $100,000-$115,000, with benefits including health/dental/vision insurance from day one, a 401(k) match, and flexible PTO.
