Associate, Digital Infrastructure Investments

Ares Management is a leading global alternative investment manager with over $430B in AUM. Ares Digital Infrastructure (ADI) is part of Ares's Real Assets platform, targeting high-quality digital infrastructure assets to capitalize on surging global demand for data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. ADI recently completed its inaugural US$2.4 billion data center development fund in Japan and continues to expand its global data center portfolio through its wholly-owned operating platform, Ada Infrastructure.

The team seeks an Associate in Asia to work closely with the investment team on sourcing, due diligence, and execution of digital infrastructure investment opportunities across the region. The role sits within one of the world's premier alternative investment firms and offers significant exposure to large-scale infrastructure transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct investment research on target companies, industries, and digital infrastructure asset classes

- Build and maintain financial models: valuation, LBO analysis, DCF, and returns modeling

- Perform industry and competitive analysis to support investment theses

- Lead and coordinate business diligence across operational, financial, and market dimensions

- Draft investment memoranda for internal Investment Committee and external stakeholders

- Prepare comprehensive due diligence packs for the investment team with relevant analytics and background

Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or infrastructure investing, with strong quantitative and analytical skills. Experience in data centers, telecommunications, or digital infrastructure is a plus.
