VC Analyst

Alpha Square Group is a SEC-registered investment firm managing approximately $1.5 billion in assets. The firm seeks an Investment Analyst to support the investment team across private and public market strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Market Research & Thematic Development: Produce quarterly sector snapshots and monthly market updates; build investment theses

- Deal Support & Due Diligence: Evaluate opportunities, prepare investment memos, conduct valuation benchmarking

- Portfolio Monitoring: Track KPIs and financials for portfolio companies quarterly

- Ecosystem Engagement: Build professional networks and maintain organized research systems

Requirements:

- 1-2 years experience in investment banking, VC, PE, or consulting

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

- Strong research and writing skills; attention to detail

- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation analysis

- Familiarity with Notion, PitchBook, or Bloomberg preferred

- Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship

Compensation: $75,000–$100,000 base salary + bonus potential
