South Korean AI startup WARP SPACE has successfully closed a $2.85 million Series A funding round, injecting significant capital into the development and global expansion of its innovative AI character chat platform, Caveduck. The investment was spearheaded by ID Ventures, with active participation from notable venture capital firms including Kona Venture Partners, Maple Investment Partners, and Paramount Investment.

Caveduck distinguishes itself by empowering users to create personalized AI characters and engage in dynamic conversations. A key feature of the platform is its creator-centric monetization model, allowing individuals to generate income directly from the popularity of their AI creations. This creator economy aspect has fueled impressive user engagement, with the platform currently boasting over 10,000 monthly active creators and facilitating more than 30 million conversations each month. The platform has also surpassed the one million registered user milestone, with a significant international footprint, as over 60% of its user base hails from outside South Korea.
