Analysis

Noma Security, a unified platform specialized in AI and agent security, announced it has secured a whopping $100 million in Series B funding. This significant investment comes less than a year after the previous funding round, making Noma Security the fastest-growing company in the AI security sector. Evolution Equity Partners led the funding round with Ballistic Ventures and Glilot Capital continuing their participation.

Founded in November 2024, Noma Security ended the year with a solid portfolio of customers in operation. The company's Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) increased by more than 1,300% within the last year, acquiring successful customers across various sectors, including financial services, life sciences, retail, and big tech. Noma Security is headquartered in Tel Aviv‑Jaffa, Israel

This investment arrives at a crucial time for enterprise Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) who are striving to secure and govern agentic AI in anticipation of enterprise adoption. UBS Research reveals that 53% of surveyed organizations plan to adopt agentic AI by 2026, with an 83% adoption rate expected by 2028.

Noma Security aids Fortune 500 and AI-forward organizations to unlock the value of agentic AI securely, wrapped in robust governance, security, and compliance. These organizations can identify millions of AI and AI agent risks while simultaneously prioritizing and mitigating novel threats on a large scale. For instance, a Noma Security customer processes hundreds of millions of AI prompts every month while scanning thousands of model artifacts and AI environments, including cloud, code repositories, and AI agent development platforms.

Richard Seewald, Founder and Managing Partner of Evolution Equity Partners, expressed their decision to invest in Noma Security was influenced by two main factors. Firstly, Noma Security's founding team had the foresight to develop a comprehensive AI security and governance platform to address all CISO challenges related to AI security. Secondly, Noma Security rapidly found product-market fit within the enterprise CISO's organization with a solution for agentic AI security and governance.

Noma Security CEO and Co-Founder, Niv Braun, stated that AI agent adoption is rapidly increasing within their customer base, and CISOs understand the importance of deploying AI innovation with full guardrails. According to Braun, Noma Security is the only cybersecurity vendor to offer an end-to-end platform built to identify and mitigate the uniquely advanced risks of agentic AI.

Braun added that they are thrilled to partner with Evolution Equity Partners as they continue to lead the enterprise AI security category and assist their customers in delivering AI innovation with confidence.

In addition to accelerating innovation in AI and agent security, this funding round will be utilized to expand Noma Security's go-to-market operations across North America and EMEA. It will also facilitate the rapid growth of its product, R&D, and research teams in Tel Aviv.
