Cairo-based startup BrainsMingle has successfully closed a $400,000 seed funding round, led by Egypt's prominent human capital technology firm, BasharSoft Group. This strategic investment marks BasharSoft Group's initial foray into new ventures following its acquisition of iCareer, signaling a strong belief in BrainsMingle's innovative approach to professional networking.

The fresh capital will empower BrainsMingle to significantly advance its mission of constructing a globally accessible, AI-powered professional networking ecosystem. The platform distinguishes itself by offering a video-first experience, designed to foster genuine connections and streamline interactions for experts and professionals alike. It integrates essential functionalities such as live session hosting, booking and payment management, community building, and direct professional engagement into a unified interface.

Founded in 2024 by Belal Amin and Yousef Gamal, BrainsMingle addresses a critical fragmentation issue faced by modern professionals. Currently, experts often juggle multiple disparate tools for hosting events, managing schedules, processing payments, nurturing communities, and maintaining their professional presence.
