Associate — Wellington Management Private Climate Investing

Wellington Management seeks an Associate for its Private Climate Investing team in New York. The Climate Innovation Fund invests in growth-stage companies (Series B–D) developing climate solutions across energy, buildings, smart cities, industrial efficiency, transportation, and food/agriculture sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Market research and company mapping

- Due diligence on prospective investments

- Financial modeling and analysis

- Investment memo drafting and Investment Committee participation

- Attend management meetings and industry conferences

- Assist with LP reporting and complex analytical projects

Requirements

- 2–4 years in investment banking, consulting, VC, or related fields

- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities

- Interest in climate technology and emerging solutions

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- AI tool proficiency preferred

Compensation

- Base: $90,000–$180,000 + discretionary bonus + comprehensive benefits

- Schedule: 4 days office, 1 day remote
