Director, Investor Relations - Pomona (Private Equity Secondaries)

Voya Investment Management is hiring a Director / Vice President, Investor Relations for Pomona, its private equity secondaries platform, based in London. The incoming hire will support Fundraising and Investor Relations efforts across Europe, working directly alongside Sebastien Bowen, Partner & Head of Europe.

The role combines distribution and investor relations responsibilities, with the majority of time spent establishing and enhancing relationships with existing investors and creating new business development opportunities across a variety of European regions. An established network of contacts and relationships within private markets investors is considered a strong asset. Familiarity with private equity secondaries as a strategy would be advantageous. The position is best suited to an independent self-starter comfortable with a high level of personal responsibility, and is based in London with regular opportunities for European travel.

Core responsibilities include building and developing relationships and contacts within the investor community, proactively sourcing new contacts across Europe, and taking an active role through all stages of the fundraising effort for Pomona's upcoming Fund XI. The hire will lead research to identify new sources of capital, take ownership of investor meetings and ongoing relationship management for European investors, and develop a thorough understanding of Pomona's investment strategy in order to manage technical LP discussions and support capital raising.

The role also involves further establishing Pomona's brand among European investors, including attending industry conferences and events, deepening relationships with the European consultant community, and compiling market intelligence on products, LPs, and GPs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partner in Europe, the broader IR team, the investment team, and internal stakeholders to address investor needs on an ongoing basis.
