Vista Equity Partners, a leading Private Equity firm, seeks an accomplished Vice President, Product Management to drive significant value creation across its portfolio of enterprise software companies. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape product strategy and execution at a firm renowned for its operational expertise and focus on long-term growth within the technology sector.

As a core member of Vista's operational team, the Vice President will work directly with leadership teams of our portfolio companies, applying a disciplined approach to product management that aligns with Vista’s investment thesis. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing the product capabilities, market positioning, and competitive advantage of acquired businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Product Leadership:* Develop and implement overarching product strategies that accelerate growth, improve market penetration, and increase customer satisfaction for portfolio companies. This includes identifying new product opportunities, optimizing existing offerings, and aligning product roadmaps with business objectives.

Portfolio Company Enablement:* Guide and mentor product teams within portfolio companies, providing expertise in defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and managing the full product lifecycle from concept to launch and iteration. Ensure robust product development processes are in place.

Value Creation & Due Diligence:* Collaborate closely with Vista’s investment professionals and operational leaders to identify product-centric value creation opportunities during due diligence and post-acquisition. Contribute insights on product-market fit, technological capabilities, and competitive differentiation.

Best Practice Implementation:* Establish and disseminate best practices in product management across the entire portfolio, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, continuous product improvement, and efficient resource allocation.

Market & Competitive Analysis:* Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and technological advancements to ensure portfolio companies maintain leadership positions within their respective markets and anticipate future needs.

Performance Optimization:* Drive initiatives to optimize product-market fit, pricing strategies, and go-to-market execution for enterprise software solutions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and financial targets. Evaluate product performance against key metrics and recommend improvements.

This position is a remote role, open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. Compensation details will be discussed directly with qualified candidates.
