As a Director, Enterprise AI Platform Architect, you will provide strategic technical leadership for the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure AI platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles combined with expertise in modern AI/ML technologies. Your work will enable portfolio companies to harness the power of artificial intelligence effectively, translating complex technical requirements into actionable architectural blueprints that deliver tangible business outcomes.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Architectural Strategy:* Define and champion the enterprise-wide AI platform architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with Vista's investment thesis and portfolio company objectives.

Platform Design & Implementation:* Oversee the technical design, selection of technologies, and guidance on the implementation of core AI infrastructure components, data pipelines, and model deployment frameworks.

Portfolio Engagement:* Partner with C-suite and technical leadership across portfolio companies to assess AI needs, identify shared opportunities, and facilitate the adoption of platform solutions.

Technology Evaluation:* Continuously evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies, tools, and vendor solutions, providing recommendations to optimize performance, cost, and security.

Best Practices & Governance:* Establish and enforce architectural standards, data governance policies, and MLOps best practices to ensure responsible and compliant AI development and operation.

Technical Leadership:* Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to engineering teams within Vista and its portfolio on complex AI architectural challenges.

This position is a full-time, Remote, United States opportunity. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, reflecting the strategic importance of this role within Vista Equity Partners.
