VP/Director, Institutional Sales - Private Equity

Venture Search is partnered with a large US bank looking to expand their Private Funds Group with a senior Institutional Fundraiser covering the West Coast and Mountain states.

Responsibilities:

Lead institutional fundraising efforts across the West Coast and Mountain states, with primary coverage of pensions, endowments, foundations, consultants, and large family offices

Originate, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective LPs

Drive capital raising for the firm's Private Equity offerings

Develop and execute regional fundraising plans, including pipeline management, investor targeting, and prioritization of opportunities

Represent the firm at investor meetings, conferences, and industry events

Manage the full fundraising lifecycle, from initial outreach through closing and ongoing investor engagement

Requirements:

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Institutional Fundraising with a strong track record in LP origination

Track record of raising capital across Private Markets with experience in PE

Strong network of Institutional LPs across the West Coast

Experience working at a Placement Agent/Private Funds Group is essential
