About This Role
Turn/River Capital ($5.6B committed capital) is a private equity firm applying a proprietary growth engineering strategy to software businesses. Partners with B2B software companies to accelerate growth and build enduring value through hands-on operational support in marketing, sales, and customer success. Founded 2012, based in San Francisco, invests globally with focus on North America and Europe.
This is a 2-year entry-level Analyst program beginning August 2027. Identify and evaluate B2B software businesses based on financial performance and operational improvement opportunities aligned with Turn/River proprietary go-to-market playbooks. Speak directly with CEOs of software companies. Deal identification and sourcing is a critical function of the investment strategy. Exceptional performers can grow into partner-track investing roles.
Key responsibilities: Identify and define market opportunities and verticals. Engage with companies and their CEOs that fit the target investment profile. Qualify companies through conversations and operational/financial metrics, then present findings to the broader investment team. Partner with investment professionals to deploy capital and execute transactions. Actively build sourcing processes and technologies.
