About This Role

## Role Overview

The Private Equity & Alternative Investments Senior Analyst plays a lead role in the sourcing, due diligence, selection, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of private market investment opportunities at Truist Wealth, spanning private equity, private credit, private real assets, secondaries, co-investments, and fund-of-funds strategies -- including evergreen vehicles designed for high-net-worth and private wealth investors. The role serves as a private markets subject matter expert linking the Private Capital team, product partners, advisors, and clients.

## Key Responsibilities

- Lead or co-lead sourcing, due diligence, underwriting, approval, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring of private capital investment opportunities across private equity, private credit, real assets, co-investments, secondaries, and evergreen fund structures.

- Prepare investment memoranda, investment committee recommendations, manager reviews, and ongoing due diligence/monitoring materials.

- Coordinate development and enhancement of Truist's private capital platform across bank and brokerage wealth channels, including manager selection and product lifecycle management.

- Support business development through client, prospect, and center-of-influence meetings; deliver private markets presentations and advisor/client education; support RFP responses.

- Provide strategic advisory on private capital portfolio construction, manager selection, and portfolio reviews.

- Represent the Private Capital team as a speaker/panelist at internal and external Truist Wealth events.

## Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in manager research/due diligence of private capital funds, including investment due diligence (IDD) and operational due diligence (ODD).

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, statistics, economics, or related field.

- Strong knowledge of investment management and manager research/due diligence for private capital investments.

- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills; ability to translate complex analytical/technical information into understandable terms.

- Preferred: MBA or graduate degree in finance/economics; CFA, CAIA, or related credentials; familiarity with closed-end/drawdown and evergreen/semi-liquid private capital structures; experience with Preqin, PitchBook, CAIS, or Tamale.
