Vice President, Carlyle Private Equity Partners

The Vice President will play a critical leadership role within Carlyle's Global Private Equity (GPE) platform, supporting the growth of Carlyle Private Equity Partners (CPEP)—a global evergreen private equity vehicle designed for retail and high-net-worth investors. Responsibilities include origination and execution of buyout transactions across sectors, evaluation and monitoring of investment opportunities across Carlyle's GPE platform (direct opportunities, balance sheet investments, secondary stakes), collaboration with internal stakeholders across GPE, CEP, CTEP, CAP, and CJP to align portfolio construction with macroeconomic themes, and active portfolio monitoring. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of private equity experience with strong analytical and transaction skills, prior investment banking or consulting background, and exceptional leadership capability. This role combines strategic fund-level oversight with active investment execution responsibilities. Carlyle's GPE segment is one of the world's largest PE platforms, spanning industries, geographies and asset types.
