Vice President, Carlyle AlpInvest - Secondaries & Portfolio Finance

The Carlyle Group seeks a Vice President within the AlpInvest Secondary and Portfolio Finance platform. The role focuses on portfolio finance and credit secondary investments. Responsibilities include: Lead evaluation, structuring and execution of transactions in private capital markets; conducting due diligence and sponsor interactions; mentoring junior professionals; valuations and capital structure analysis; investment committee memo preparation; legal documentation negotiation; investor communication support. Requires bachelor's degree (master's preferred), strong familiarity with private equity and/or credit investments, advanced financial modeling skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. 4-8 years of experience required. Preferred background in portfolio finance and/or credit secondaries.
