2-Year Associate, AlpInvest Secondaries and Portfolio Finance

The Associate will join the Secondaries & Portfolio Finance Investments team within AlpInvest Partners. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team specializing in innovative secondary transactions and capital solutions across the private equity landscape.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and execute secondary market transactions including LP portfolio acquisitions, GP-led transactions, and structured equity solutions.

- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on private equity funds, underlying portfolios, and NAV-based financing opportunities.

- Build and maintain complex financial models including NAV waterfall analyses, cash flow projections, and valuation scenarios.

- Prepare investment memoranda and committee materials for internal approval processes.

- Collaborate with senior professionals on deal structuring, legal negotiations, and portfolio monitoring.

- Leverage AI technologies to streamline operations, enhance decision-making, and drive execution of key responsibilities with greater efficiency and impact.

The position is designed for summer 2026 start.
