Vice President — Portfolio Management & Value Creation

Temasek is a global investment company headquartered in Singapore with a net portfolio value of S$434 billion (US$324 billion), operating 13 offices in 9 countries across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead strategic and operational analyses of portfolio companies: financial health, business strategy, competitive positioning, operational efficiency

- Identify, evaluate, and execute value creation initiatives: strategy refocusing, operational improvements, balance sheet optimisation, corporate restructuring

- Develop and challenge robust valuation models: SOTP, DCF, DDM, trading comparables, precedent transactions, scenario analysis

- Monitor portfolio performance through financial and operational KPIs; translate insights into value-creation priorities

- Engage with senior management teams and Board Directors to support strategic decisions

- Contribute to portfolio-wide initiatives: synergies, organic and inorganic growth, best practices

- Coach and mentor junior team members

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field

- Experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting

- Strong financial modeling skills (DCF, LBO, SOTP)
