Investment Associate

Struck Capital, one of the largest dedicated Seed-stage venture capital funds in Los Angeles with over 60 portfolio companies, is seeking an Investment Associate to join their investment team in a hybrid capacity.

Founded in 2016, Struck Capital backs early-stage founders across technology verticals and has built a reputation as a hands-on partner to seed-stage companies across the West Coast ecosystem.

As an Investment Associate, you will be a core member of the investment team responsible for identifying, evaluating, and supporting seed-stage investment opportunities. You will build and manage proprietary sourcing channels, develop relationships across the Los Angeles startup community, and contribute to the firm's deal flow pipeline.

Key responsibilities include assessing prospective deals and conducting thorough due diligence across business model, team, market size, and competitive dynamics. You will draft investment memos and analytical presentations for the partnership, attend startup conferences, events, and demo days to identify emerging companies, and support portfolio management by monitoring startup ecosystem trends and developments.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of venture capital investing experience or a strong background working with early-stage startups. You must be a Tier 1 networker with deep connections within the Los Angeles and broader US startup ecosystem. A high level of initiative, strong work ethic, and excellent organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools is required.
