Role Overview

StepStone Group is hiring a Private Equity Secondaries Analyst for its London office. StepStone is a global private markets specialist delivering tailored investment solutions, advisory services, and data-driven insights to the world's investors.

About the Team

The Analyst will join StepStone's Private Equity Secondaries investment team, which recently closed its fifth fund with $7.4 billion of total capital commitments. StepStone deploys billions of dollars per year in private equity secondary deals, including GP-led transactions, LP interests in private equity funds, and structured secondary deals such as team spin-outs, direct investments, and fund recapitalizations.

Key Responsibilities

- Source, screen, and conduct due diligence on European private equity secondary investments, both LP and GP-led transactions

- Interact with management teams and fund managers to conduct in-depth asset and portfolio-level analysis

- Perform quantitative and qualitative research and financial modelling/analysis in support of secondary transactions

- Contribute across all aspects of the secondary deal process, with exposure to all levels of the firm, from Partners to fellow Analysts
